Why we don't leave Ben unattended with dada...

So... Ben decided he needed to try to drink his old man under the table. I had no idea that a pineapple-orange smoothie could have such an intoxicating effect on a little one, but sure enough the poor kid seemed quite "happy" after a few swigs. You gotta expose 'em to this kind of thing early on because you know they're already seeing it on TV and wondering what's going on... Yes, Ben, they're ALL drinking smoothies...

So then the next day mama catches us passed out in a "drunken" stupor... Let me tell you all something right now: Ben parties hard. This kid is an animal. Anyhow, we needed our rest because we had a long day ahead of us. Partying can be hard work!

Anyhow, the next thing Ben knows, he wakes up naked in some strange pool with another baby. I swear, they write movies about stuff like this, and I'm stuck here typing away at my blog. Ben actually managed to body slam his buddy in the pool at some point, but I'm not sure if that was the smoothie or the testosterone doing the talking there.

Speaking of testosterone, the boy seems to be growing up fast! Ben doesn't even crawl around yet, but he's already pulling himself up on things. I couldn't believe what I was seeing, but sure enough Ben pulled himself up on the coffee table and stood up without help.


So that's that. Ben's going to start blogging for himself pretty soon, so I've got to get my version of the story out there before he can censor anything. As usual, I have tons of cute photos to share here, here, and here.
